There has been a significant change in the education sector of Gujarat in 2025. GCERT (Gujarat Council of Educational Research and Training) has restructured the “Unit-Test” system and now implemented the structure of Quarterly trimasik kasoti and Semester examinations.

1. Quarterly Exams – Key Details
- Date: 18th August 2025 to 30th August 2025
- Syllabus Coverage: Syllabus up to 15th August 2025
- Marks: 40 marks in each subject
- Question Paper Base: 📄 GCERT Question Bank – Topic-wise questions for class 3 to 8
- Assessment: Included in Formative Assessment, results must be shared with parents
2. First Semester Exams – 2025
- Date: 6th October 2025 to 14th October 2025
- Syllabus Coverage: June to October 2025
- Question Paper Prepared by: DIET (District Institute of Education and Training), following GCERT guidelines
